The old paint from wicker because of the interweaving it first it is very difficult to remove paint from wicker because of all of all of all of the interweaving it first it wasnt previously painted.

A gallon of petrol and a match, then you can replace it with something more tasteful, which simply means anything not in wicker.

Your best bet would be to spray paint over the old paint.

The old paint must come off easy.
The old paint must come off by gal of paint remover and work small area at time it will come off easy.
