I have some wicker furniture that has faded from the sun and age. I want to paint it but wondered if there is certain paint to use and what I do to prepare the wicker to make the paint last??

i would go to somewhere like home depot or lows and look for paint that is either or both wood paint and/or water proof.
if it is wood paint, it will stick into the wood and keep it from deteriorating, and if it is water proof, then it will keep the rain from damaging the funiture and the paint.

For years but it cant be applied over previous coat of emulsion would haul chair down for years but it will just peel off.
